Good value, clear mission

I was looking for a specific orthopedic bone model and found Makers4medicine. The price was competitive, especially considering it's a non-profit. I didn't see any direct discounts but the tax-deductible receipt is a nice bonus. Felt good to support their educational efforts too. The model arrived quickly, and it's a solid piece. Definitely worth the purchase for my studies.

Reliable source for models

This was my third order from Makers4medicine, this time for an organ cross-section. Just like before, the quality was consistent. My previous orders, a neurological brain model and a custom dental model, were also great. Shipping was reliable, always arriving within the expected window. It's why I keep coming back – I know what I'm getting, and it supports a good cause.

Solid quality, minor shipping hiccup

I purchased a surgical training kit. The kit itself is quite impressive, with well-printed components that feel durable and realistic enough for practice. It's definitely helping me with my skill development. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was simple. However, shipping took a little longer than I expected, around 8 days to reach me in California, and tracking updates were a bit sparse initially. Customer service was responsive when I inquired, though. Overall, a positive experience, but faster or more detailed shipping info would be an improvement.

Got a heart model

Needed an anatomical heart model for a presentation. Ordered it from here. It came in about a week, which was fine. The model looks good, decent quality. Did the job. No fuss, no drama, just a good product delivered. I'd probably use them again if I need more stuff.

Fantastic educational tools!

I got an educational STEM kit and it's absolutely brilliant! The kids were so engaged with it. The parts were all there and the instructions were clear. Makers4medicine is doing such important work, I'm so glad I found them! I will definitely be back for more kits and have already told my colleagues about them. What a find!

Great model, good cause

I ordered a vascular system model for my lab. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Shipping took about 6 business days to get to me in New York, which was within the timeframe they stated. The model itself is detailed and well-made from what I can tell. It's been really useful for demonstrating complex anatomy. I also appreciate that it supports STEM education, makes the purchase feel more impactful. The only thing is, I had a quick question about cleaning instructions, and while the response was helpful, it took about 30 hours to hear back.

Hey, thinking about getting one of those heart models for my med school studies. Does Makers4medicine usually have any discounts or codes floating around for students?

P Phil Q. 2 months ago
Nah, I don't think they do regular discounts like that. I bought a few things last year and never saw any codes. They're a non-profit, so it's more about the donation I guess.

They don't really do promo codes for general purchases, but if you're part of a university or something, sometimes they offer bulk pricing for educational grants. Or if your school volunteers with them, you might get some perks like that.

Trying to figure out shipping time for a customized model to California. Anyone ordered something recently and can tell me how long it took to get to the West Coast?

O Omar 2 months ago
I got a custom piece sent to LA a few months back. It took about 2-3 weeks from when I placed the order to when it arrived. Custom stuff takes a bit longer, obviously.

Yeah, I'm on the East Coast and it was pretty quick for a standard model, like a week. But for custom designs, it's gonna vary a lot. They gotta make it first, you know?
